Unidentified body found

Dera Bassi, September 3

An unidentified body of a man was found from Samgoli village, near here. According to police the body was first spotted by residents of the village who informed the police following which they took the body into their custody.

The sources said they could not found anything from the clothes of the deceased which could reveal his identity. The body of the deceased had been kept for identification at the Civil Hospital for 72 hours. The exact cause of the death could only be ascertained after the autopsy. — OC
