Kids ‘R’ Kids School, Sector 42-C, organised a workshop on swine flu on the campus. Students were given information about preventive measures, symptoms and medication. They were also shown an informative video.

Gurukul Global, Mani Majra

The NSS unit of Gurukul Global School organised a special camp on the school premises. The theme of the camp was ‘Fit India- Hit India’. Tips were given to the students on the importance of fitness, health, life skills, self-defence and stress management.

Sri Guru Harkrishan, Chandigarh

Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, held a workshop on meditation for the students of Classes IX and X. The resource persons were Rashmi and Ravi Kant. They told the students that meditation played an important role in their physical and mental well-being.

Ryan International, Mohali

A writing competition was held for the students of Class IV at Ryan International School, Mohali. Students were given guidelines before writing essays. The aim was to improve the linguistic skills of the students. The competition helped the students in better presentation of facts. TNS
