The police have booked a Mauli Jagran resident, Monu, for ‘raping’ a minor on the pretext of marrying her. They said Monu raped the victim in a hotel and impregnated her. In her statement to the police, the victim stated that after passing her matriculation examination, she started working at a grocery shop, where she met him. Later, she visited GMSH-16 due to ‘stomach pain’, where doctors told her that she was pregnant.
