Met Department forecasts rain in city today

The remaining days of the month are likely to witness cloudy weather with light to moderate rain expected in the end of the month.

According to the Met Department, there is forecast of rain on Sunday while from Monday onwards, it will be generally cloudy. From August 28 onwards, it is expected to rain.

“It is going to be light to moderate rain in the city on August 28, 29 and 30,” said Surender Pal, Director, Met Department, Chandigarh.

During these days, maximum temperature is likely to hover between 30 degree Celsius and 32 degree Celsius. On Saturday, 0.1 mm of rainfall was recorded in the city. In some parts of the city, more rain was recorded.

In the coming days, maximum temperature is likely to come down by two degrees with weather likely to remain cloudy.
