Public Holiday in Chandigarh today on account of martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur

Chandigarh: On account of martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur, the UT Administration has announced a public holiday for Wednesday. According to an order issued by Nitin Kumar Yadav, UT Home Secretary, December 8 will now be observed as a public holiday in all government offices/boards/ corporations/institutions, including industrial establishments, under the Chandigarh Administration, instead of a restricted holiday already declared on account of the martyrdom day.
