Chandigarh, February 14
To the mark the Pulwama attack anniversary and remember the 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, who sacrificed their lives, a blood donation camp was organised at the Daria police post today.
In all, 110 units of blood were collected out of which 40 were donated by police personnel. The UT SSP, Nilambari Jagdale, and the Industrial Area police station SHO, Inspector Jasbir Singh, were present at the camp.
A convoy of vehicles ferrying CRPF personnel on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a suicide bomber at Lethpora in Pulwama district (J&K) on February 14 last year. — TNS
