DPS hosts Annual Sports Day function

Delhi Public School (DPS) on Wednesday hosted Annual Sports Day on the school premises here.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sakshi Sawhney, was the chief guest while Goniana Senior Medical Officer Dr Anil Goyal was the guest of honour.

The children from classes nursery to III participated in various sporting events. Young athletes from nursery participated in ‘Burst the balloon’, adventure race, ‘Rabbit & Carrot race’.

The kids also sang a song and danced, leaving everyone spellbound. The children from Class I showed their ultimate sport spirit by participating in Hulla & Ball and Roll the Ball.

Students of classes II and III participated in aerobic dance, obstacle, hurdle, back and relay races.

There were track and field events for parents as well. The chief guest applauded the efforts of the young athletes and their teachers.
