Ambala: The district administration took the possession of 140 acres at Chhaju Majra village in Shahzadpur.



Ambala: The district administration took the possession of 140 acres at Chhaju Majra village in Shahzadpur. Duty Magistrate Rajan Singla, naib-tehsildar Rupinder Singh and 125 policemen reached the village to take the possession of the land. Singla said, “Some farmers had encroached upon the land and they had been cultivating it for years. The matter had been in different courts, including the Punjab and Haryana High Court. It was vacated a few days ago after which the possession was taken.” — TNS
