The Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) led by Sarna brothers got registered a complaint of alleged cheating and misappropriation against general secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

In the complaint, the SADD has levelled allegation for misappropriation of gurdwara funds against Sirsa and seeking investigation against him after seizing all relevant documents so that they are not tempered.

The complainant said Sirsa purchased expensive eyesight glasses and frames, expensive goggles for his personal use, though in the DSGMC records it was mentioned as gifts given to visitors. The DSGMC being religious body always gifts religious books of Sikhism to prominent persons as its main objective is to propagate the teachings of the Sikh gurus.

The suspect had allegedly sponsored the programme organised by the BJP through MP Manoj Tiwari for opening of a night shelter for homeless near ISBT. Huge amount of DSGMC funds was used for providing blankets and special snacks for those who attended the political function, the complainant alleged.

The complainant alleged, “The accused made unjustified payments from 'golak' funds to M/S Raja Tent and Decorator, 6004/1D-6, Vasant Kunj; M/S Rising Ball-Wedding and Event Planners (having no address on the bill); M/S Harsh Opticals, 4-B/56, Shankar Road, Old Rajinder Nagar; M/S, Chawla Canvas Store, 144 Azad Market; M/S Bala Ji Handloom Emporium, 7705, Dharm Pura Lounge, Subzi Mandi, Ghata Ghar; M/S S.K. Enterprise, 93, Qutab Road, Sadar Bazar; M/S Nice Industries, NW-215, Vishnu Garden and Simran Graphics, 2635, Bank Street, Karol Bagh.

The complainant further alleged that items mentioned in the bills of Rising Ball-Wedding and Event Management Company is more than ten times higher.

The complainant alleged that the accused committed the offence of cheating and misappropriation of gurdwara funds through bogus bills. It also alleged that he illegally utilised the gurdwara funds for the benefit of the BJP.

Sirsa threatens to file criminal case against Sarna brothers

DSGMC working general secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa today threatened to file a criminal case against SADD president Paramjit Singh Sarna and his brother general secretary Harwinder Singh Sarna for levelling false, baseless and malicious allegations against him.

Sirsa said he submitted a complaint to DCP (New Delhi) Madhur Verma, against Sarna brothers. However, the DCP said, so far, he had not received any complaint.

Sirsa alleged that in order to stop him from contesting ensuing executive board members' elections of the DSGMC, Sarna brothers had resorted to “cheap and dirty” politics by levelling false, baseless and malicious allegations against him and to buttress their claims they had used forged documents before media.

Sirsa said he had set up a night shelter and provided food facilities besides medicines to the homeless, but Sarna brothers had tried to paint this event as a programme of Manoj Tiwarif of the BJP.

He said they tried their best in luring the members of the DSGMC (SAD Badal party) to vote against him, but failed.
