How was it to feature on big screen? Was it challenging?

It was great. The role I did in Sab Kushal Mangal was a very different than I have done previously. It was a light hearted comedy character who is concerned about his family and about his sister who is getting married. Every role that we play, irrespective of the medium, is challenging. I just hope that I am able to deliver as per expectations.

How was it working with two debutants Priyaank and Riva?

They were very enthusiastic. They were very keen on learning new things from the director and they both were spontaneous. I must say that even though both the actors are star kids, they were very down to earth.

Was this your first attempt at comedy genre?

Yes, it was for the first time in my career that I did comedy. It is an altogether different experience to work with senior actors like Rakesh Bedi, Satish and Supriya Phatak. You get to learn so much from them.

What is your role in Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi?

In Sooryavanshi, I am playing the role of antagonist.

You are quite fortunate to get two Bollywood projects back to back. How do you feel about it?

I think it is all about the right timing and the right place which I was. Everything matters— your timing, your talent, hard work and destiny.

We hear you are into adventure sports, which sports you enjoy the most?

I am going to Dubai to experience a lot of adventure sports, out of which car racing is one of the things that I will do. Sky diving is another thing which I am very excited to do.

TV doesn’t pay well unless you are a very popular star. How has been your experience so far?

Yes, I agree with it. Till the time you are not a star you aren’t paid the amount you deserve. It is exactly like when your movie is a blockbuster, automatically your pay hikes. If you are a part of a hit show then it definitely works in your favour and you get better payment for the next show. Else, you have to struggle and negotiate on your price.
