Rewari, March 6

Five persons were killed when the car they were travelling in collided head on with a roadways bus of Rewari depot near Siha village of Rewari district in the wee hours today. The deceased have been identified as Surat, Pratap, Ajit, Billu Ram and Sunder of Chang village in Charkhi Dadri district.

The victims were returning to their village after attending a wedding in the Dharuhera area of the district. The impact was such that the car was completely damaged and all occupants sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to the Trauma Centre in Rewari city, where doctors declared them dead. Their family members reached the Trauma Centre to take the bodies for cremation.

A resident of Chang village (Charkhi Dadri) said all the deceased were the members of a family. They were the part of a baraat that gone to Rewari last evening. Villagers were coming back to the village in different cars in the wee hours when the accident took place. The deceased Sunder and Billu Ram were brothers.
