Additional Chief Secretary (Pollution) Dheera Khandelwal on Thursday said the state government had decided to instal an online air quality monitoring station in Karnal to regular monitor and analyse air quality.
Chairing a meeting, she said it would be installed at the Mini-Secretariat at a cost of around Rs 1.60 crore. A display board would be installed, which would show the real time air quality data.
This step had already been taken in Gurugram, Faridabad, Panchkula and Rohtak districts and ould be covered in other districts, she said. — TNS
