Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology has decided to discontinue offline classes and resume online classes for the students after 22 persons, including girl students and university staff members tested positive for Covid 19 today.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, informed that they have decided to provide lodging facilities to the Covid-affected students and staff members in the faculty house and the warden house on the university campus. He said the students had been asked to leave hostels as the classes would be held online for two weeks.

He said other essential services and examinations will continue as per schedule.
