A shopkeeper in Bhuna town of Fatehabad district was duped of Rs 41,000 in an online fraud on the pretext of providing cashback offer by the caller. The Fatehabad police have registered a case and started an investigation. The complainant, Rohtas, said he got a call from a woman who identified herself as a bank employee and gave an offer. Later, she asked for an OTP. As he shared the OTP and the credit card number, he received a message of withdrawal of about Rs 41,000. He immediately got the credit card blocked and reported the matter to the police.
