Panipat, December 4
A 23-year-old handloom trader allegedly shot himself with his security guard’s licensed pistol near Jai Shree Ram Ashram in Ganga Ram Colony in the Old Industrial area here today.
The deceased was identified as Aman Dubey of New Diwan Nagar. The security guard, Sandeep, saw him lying in a pool of blood. SHO Manjeet Singh said Aman used to take drugs and was under treatment at PGI. “He was depressed due to non-availability of drugs,” he said. — TNS
