Shimla, February 9
Ambesh Upmanyu, Chief Postmaster General, Himachal Pradesh, called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at the Raj Bhavan here today and presented to him commemorative postage stamps on Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir.
Upmanyu apprised the Governor about the increasing demand for postage stamps displaying the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, which would be available in all post offices of the state. He said that the department would launch a campaign from February 20 to March 28 in the state to distribute a souvenir and spread the Prime Minister’s message related to the Ram Mandir. He added that the department had also assisted in the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ at 1,093 locations in the state.
Bishan Singh, Director, Postal Services, was present on the occasion.
