Shimla, February 1

The election for a Rajya Sabha seat falling vacant on the completion of the term of BJP president JP Nadda will be held on February 27.

Releasing the election schedule for the Rajya Sabha poll from Himachal, the State Election Department has fixed February 15 as the last date for filing of nomination and February 16 for scrutiny.

The last date for the withdrawal of names is February 20. The counting of votes, in case voting takes place, will be taken up at 4 pm. The election process will be over on February 29.
