Hamirpur, July 22
Former Chief Minister (CM) Prem Kumar Dhumal during a meeting of Hamirpur BJP at the circuit house, here, urged the party leaders and workers to strive hard to ensure victory in all the five Assembly segments of the district. Dhumal said, “Workers and leaders must work jointly to bring back the lost glory.”
He advised the workers to sink their differences. “There can be many aspirants for the party ticket but once the candidate is finalised, everyone should work for his/her victory,” the former CM said.
Cautioning the workers to not get involved in works detrimental to party candidate’s success, he said such persons would be dealt with accordingly. He said annoyed workers should be brought back in the party fold.
Rajinder Garg, Minister of Food and Civil Supplies, said the government had decided to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by hoisting the Tricolour on every house.
