Himachal BJP president Suresh Kashyap has criticised senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary for using intemperate language against Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur in Parliament. He said that the Congress could not digest the criticism of the Gandhi-Nehru family.

“While Anurag Thakur was addressing the nation about the intricacies of the PMRF and exposed the Gandhi-Nehru family for the alleged discrepancies during their government, the Congress again demonstrated that it could not digest the criticism of the family,” said Kashyap. He added that the use of unparliamentarily language against Anurag was not only an insult to the country but also to Himachal Pradesh.

“Adhir Ranjan should apologise and take a pledge not to use this kind of language in Parliament or on any other platform in future,” he said.
