A person died of COVID-19 and 127 others tested positive for the coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, among them 11 security forces personnel, taking the Union Territory’s death toll to 94 and caseload to 7,093.

A COVID-19 patient from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district died today, officials said.

So far, 94 people have died with or of COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir and majority of them, 84, in Kashmir alone.

“In UT of J&K, 127 new positive cases have been reported since our last update yesterday, which include 25 from Jammu and 102 from Kashmir. Also, one COVID-19 death has been reported from Kashmir,” reads the media bulletin on novel coronavirus.

At least, 91 COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals of J&K, reads the bulletin.
