Jalandhar, February 28

The passing-out parade at Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur, was held today. Capt Amarinder Singh attended the ceremony and awarded police medals for meritorious service to 59 officers.

Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. He said he was impressed with the parade and wished them success in their career. He said as the officials were now ready to serve the state as well the nation,

Four top cops posted in Jalandhar including IG (Jalandhar Range) Arpit Shukla, Deputy Commissioner of Police Gurmit Singh, DIG (Jalandhar Range) Jaskaran Singh and SSP (Vigilance Bureau) Daljinder S Dhillon were also honoured.

The officers were given the medal for their impressive service record of 20 years.
