The police have registered two separate cases in different police stations against duping Rs 9.5 lakh by pretending to be relatives from abroad.

Kunta resident Satnam Singh complaind to Hariana police station that he received a call from Canada. The caller impersonated as his son and extracted Rs 3.5 lakh from him. In another case, Upendra Singh, a resident of village Bhatla, told the police a caller impersonating as his neighbour living in Canada cheated him of Rs 6 lakh.
