50 delegates attend medical workshop

Jammu, September 19

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH) on Wednesday organised a day-long workshop on the basics of paediatric echocardiography at Government Medical College here.

The workshop was conducted by Prof Hemant Madan, senior consultant and director, cardiology and paediatric cardiology at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram, in collaboration with the department of paediatrics, Jammu Medical College, which was attended by over 50 delegates.

Brig Man Mohan Harjai, chief administrative officer, SMVDNSH, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Dr Rekha Harish, professor and head of the department of paediatrics at Government SMGS Hospital, Jammu, said the knowledge of echocardiography would aid in the expeditious and prompt diagnosis of newborns and children with suspected heart diseases.
