Pak targets Army posts in Poonch

Jammu, January 1

On the first day of 2019, the Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control twice within 12 hours.

According to sources, the Pakistan army first resorted to firing on Indian posts in the Gulpur sector of Poonch from 2 am to 2.30 am and again for two hours in the afternoon.

“There was no loss of life or injury to the Indian side,” said a source.

Pakistan has been regularly resorting to unprovoked ceasefire violations on the LoC. In 2018, over 1,500 such violations were recorded. — OC
