Future Forests Fellowship

The University of British Columbia, Vancouver is inviting scholarship applications for full-time Ph.D in one of the following areas: forest product biotechnology, bioenergy, forest genomics, climate change, urban forestry, forest management, conservation, forested landscapes, salmon ecology, forest health, forests and indigenous people, forests and human health. 

Eligibility: Scholars who have enrolled themselves full-time in UBC Vancouver’s forestry doctoral programme having academic strength of 90 per cent and above in last two years of previous study.   

Details: CAD 70,000 annually for up to four years will be given to the eligible and selected scholar.

XLRI Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) 

Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur,  is offering scholarships for full-time residential doctoral programme in economics, finance, human resource management, information systems, marketing, organisational behaviour, production, operations and decision sciences and strategic management. 

Eligibility: BE or BTech degree or its equivalent with at least 60 per cent marks with two years of relevant work experience, or 4-5 years integrated master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55 per cent obtained after completing Plus II or equivalent, or master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55 per cent marks with the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification with at least 60 per cent marks obtained after a minimum of three years of education after completing Plus II or equivalent. Relaxation of percentage for SC candidates.

Details: Rs 25,000 p.m. for 1st and 2nd year, Rs 30,000 p.m. for 3rd and 4th year, tuition fee waiver, living cost and other expenses will be provided. Contingency grant of Rs 25,000 p.a. for four years and grant of Rs 20,000 for data collection in 3rd year. Reimbursement of up to Rs 2L for attending national and international conferences after first two years.
