PhD admission

Akal University (AU), Talwandi, Bathinda, invites application for admission to PhD programmes for the year 2018-19.

Eligibility:

• For sciences: Any candidate who has passed the master’s exam in the concerned subject with not less than 60 per cent marks or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale or have appeared in the final-year exam of master’s degree in the subject concerned from any other university approved by the appropriate Academic Bodies of AU will be eligible.
• For arts, humanities or social sciences: Any candidate who has passed the master’s degree in the concerned subject with a score of not less than 55 per cent or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in aggregate, or have appeared in the final year exam of master’s degree from any other university approved by the appropriate Academic Bodies of AU will be eligible.

BSc nursing course

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) invites application for admission to post basic BSc nursing course to Govt. College of Nursing, Jaipur and private nursing colleges for the session 2018-19.

Eligibility For non-service candidates:

• Candidate should have passed the Class X or Class XII from a recognised board. 
• Should have obtained a diploma in general nursing before the implementation of new integrated course and registered as nurse or midwife with their respective state nursing council.
• The candidate should have undergone GNM with institution which is recognised by Indian Nursing Council.
• Should be medically fit

b) For in-service candidates (Rajasthan State Government. employees):

• In addition to the eligibility criteria prescribed for non-service candidates, the in-service candidate must also fulfill:
• Candidates should be in service of Government of Rajasthan. He/she should have completed at least two years of continuous service after regular appointment by the Government of Rajasthan.

Master’s degree 

University of Mumbai invites applications for admission to the master’s degree/ micro degree programme in data science by Department of Computer Science for the academic year 2018-19.

Eligibility 

• Anyone who has passed Class XII or higher standard exam with minimum 50 per cent score can appear for the national level entrance exam to seek admission. 
• The candidates who qualify the entrance test and not having completed their graduation could take admission to micro degrees (certificates) and are allowed to accumulate credits by qualifying discrete courses of this programme by following the pre-requisite structure.
• The credits earned by such candidates shall be recognised and transferred by this university and utilised by the candidates wherever applicable.
