Redefining superhero

Superheroes have played a huge part in pop culture ever since they first started being drawn in pages; with capes and righteousness there is nothing a superhero could not accomplish. But in an alternate reality where heroes are treated as outlaws, the world can be a gritty place. From the creator of LOST Damon Lindelof  brings to life HBO’s Watchmen, a series that embraces the nostalgia of the original ground-breaking graphic novel of the same name. 

Watchmen is set to premiere on Hotstar Premium starting 21st October 2019.The series takes place in an alternate contemporary reality in the United States, in which superheroes and masked vigilantes were outlawed due to their violent methods, but some of them gather around to start a revolution while others attempt to stop it. It questions the notion of heroes and tries to connect the dots between a fictional take of real events.
