Suraj is back

Suraj Sharma, who is best remembered for playing the lead in Life of Pi, was also seen in Anushka Sharma’s Phillauri. Now, the actor is ready to sign his next project in India. 

Sharma has been brought on board for Faraz Ansari’s upcoming directorial. Titled Sabr, the movie will see Sharma playing the parallel lead. “His character will be of a driver, who will be a straight ally of the queer lead character,” a source says.

Suraj was brought on board only in January. While the hunt for the lead character is still on, Sabr also features Shweta Tripathi and Shernaz Patel in pivotal roles. Interestingly, Suraj and Shweta will have a reunion on the sets. Earlier, the two did an independent movie, Illegal.
