Protection first: Eijaz Khan

Wearing a mask shows that you not only care about yourself but also about the people around you. As for fashion masks, wear whatever mask you feel comfortable in and what makes you happy but if it doesn’t serve its purpose and it’s not appropriate then please try wearing a blue surgical mask underneath it at least.

Many people have got vaccinated now, but it’s important to wear a mask and carry a sanitizer in your bag. I have some simple masks, those clinical masks and two to three coloured masks. I have bling masks which are like fashion statements. I have a personalised mask with D written on it.

Keeping it simple: Sneha Namanandi

I have only a few of them as I keep losing them all the time. So, I have decided to have a few basic ones in my car so that whenever I step out I am safe and even people around me are safe. But I still don’t like wearing a mask.

N95 it is: Florian Hurel

I tend to forget it at times, but I make sure that I constantly wear one even if I am fully vaccinated. Can masks be fashionable? I am not really sure. I believe only one mask is useful and can keep us protected, and that is the N95 mask.

Nowadays, we have designers who give us matching masks with our outfits. It is a great thing. At least they consider it a part of the ensemble now. In China and Japan, way before Covid-19 hit us, people used to wear masks. I think it has become a shield now.

Fashion vs virus: Salim Diwan

Our youngsters can’t wait to adopt new trends and make fashion statements. Now, they are wearing fashionable masks matching their outfits. Brides and grooms are also wearing those kundan masks which look really beautiful. So, it’s actually true that no virus can stop us from trends and fashion.
