Producer Ryan Stephen who is known for the movie Indoo Ki Jawaani and Kajol-starrer short film Devi, passed away on May 29. He was 50.



Producer Ryan Stephen who is known for the movie Indoo Ki Jawaani and Kajol-starrer short film Devi, passed away on May 29. He was 50.

As per reports, Ryan had contracted Covid-19 a few days back and was undergoing treatment in Goa. Mourning his demise, several Bollywood celebs took to their social media handles and expressed their grief.

Filmmaker Suparn S. Varma was among the first to share the sad news on Twitter. He wrote, “Life is cruel! But you were kind!@ryanmstephen thank you for your compassion in a ruthless world. I’m glad we undertook a journey on a few stories, the joy in writing them was because of you. You leave behind so many who loved you. Cook up a storm my friend. God bless you.”

Varun Dhawan shared a photo of Ryan on Instagram story and wrote, “Rip Ryan.” Kiara Advani, who was the lead in Indoo Ki Jawaani also shared a picture and wrote, “Our dearest Ryan gone too soon.”
