Teachers hold a special place in our lives; they are the ones who shape the future of any country. Amid the pandemic, the teachers have adapted very well to the new mode of online teaching. Without any formal training or know-how, the teaching fraternity is trying its best to reach out to students.

On this Teacher’s Day, since students cannot reach the teachers physically, some of them in Ludhiana Since have thanked them in a unique manner – via the virtual route.

Brother and sister, Fathehbir Singh Sobti and Harmehr Sobti, from Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar, have prepared a beautiful card for their teachers. “Education is a continuous process and we are extremely happy that despite the pandemic, learning is not suffering. Our school could not open for the new session, but we met our new teachers online. There is a special kind of bond we share with our teachers virtually. Apart from our studies, they also counsel us during these tough times. We cannot thank our teachers enough for everything they are doing for us in the present scenario,” they said.

Hardik Makkar from class three, DAV Public School, made a beautiful drawing for his teachers. “Every year we used to have celebrations at school, but this year it is different, so I made this drawing for my teachers and will be presenting it virtually,” he said.

“Since now our home is our school, I decorated it with balloons, and made a drawing as well as a card for my teachers. I miss my school and the functions that use to be so much fun. But I am grateful to my teachers for going the extra mile amidst such a situation and helping us with studies,” says Sejal Jain, another student.

Naushika, yet another student, is all praise for her Bharti mam, “It is her soft voice and the way she explains things that I love.”

Adamyayash, along with his mom Tanu Kapur, also celebrated a virtual Teacher’s Day. “It is fun to be a part of all his school activities. We both prepared a beautiful cut-out expressing our gratitude towards the teachers,” said Tanu.
