Ludhiana, October 28

A special training programme was held at Guru Nanak Bhawan where National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) aspirants were invited and their doubts were cleared. Local coaching centers have also helped students to crack the NTSE exam. Various principals were invited as resource persons to motivate and encourage the aspirants.

It may be mentioned here that the study material will be accessible to the students across state through Punjab Educare App. In government schools, NTSE coordinators have been appointed who will shortlist the prospective students for NTSE.

“The students can download the NTSE question papers from the SCERT website and can start the preparation. These question papers will help in better understanding about the pattern and syllabus of the exam,” said Dr Davinder Singh Chhina, Principal, GSS Smart School, Shahpur.

The last date of registration is November 2. The date of NTSE Stage 1 exam is December 13.

Advantages of being an NTSE Scholar

  • The National Talent Search Examination or NTSE is a talent-based evaluation system for students of Class X. It is based on the central and state syllabus and can be quite intensive. As a result, many students tend to fear the examination and do not take part in it.
  • After clearing the NTSE, successful candidates get a sum of Rs1,250 per month for pursuing higher secondary studies and Rs2,000 per month for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
