‘Check hoarding, black marketing of essential commodities’

Ludhiana, March 26

Vineet Pal Singh Monga, state secretary, Pradhan Mantri Jan Kalyankari Yojna Prachar Prasar Abhiyan, said the issue of overcharging essential commodities and black marketing by vegetable and fruit vendors in Ludhiana was a matter of concern.

A letter, in this regard, has been sent to all concerned authorities. Monga said this needed to be checked and with the door-to-door delivery of essential itmes, it should be enrured that rate list was mentioned and consumers could place orders accordingly only after going through the rates.
