PAU youth fest kicks off from tomorrow

LUDHIANA: The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is all set to hold its “Inter-College Youth Festival 2018-19” from October 25 to November 3.

The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is all set to hold its “Inter-College Youth Festival 2018-19” from October 25 to November 3. The event will be organised by the Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW), PAU.

Giving details, Dr RK Dhaliwal, DSW and chairperson of the fest, said the function would kick off with events, including collage making, creative writing and cartooning events on October 25. On October 26, poster making, extempore/elocution, clay modelling and poetic recitation/haas rass events will be held, whereas on October 27, on spot painting, 'mehandi', 'rangoli' and debate events will be organised, she said. On October 28, competitions in photography, chikku making, naala making, enu making and clay toys be conducted, followed by shabad gayan (group and solo) and quiz competitions on October 29, she added. Mime, bhand, mimicry and one-act play will be held on November 2, whereas skit, mono acting, lammi hek wale geet, folk dances and prize distribution will be held on November 3, she informed.
