The Punjabi Sahit Akademi organised an interactive session with Canada-based renowned Punjabi poet Bhupinder Duley at Punjabi Bhawan here on Monday.

Presiding over the function, Punjabi Sahit Akademi president Prof Ravinder Singh Bhatthal welcomed the visiting Punjabi poet and guests. He gave a brief introduction about Bhupinder Duley and spoke about his various literary works in Punjabi.

Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill, former head of the akademi, said Duley is one of those poets who have kept Punjabi alive living in foreign land. He shared the struggle and hard work of Duley. “Creations of Bhupinder Duley are not restricted to one region, but are the voice of Punjab.
