Stone laid for firing range

Ludhiana, July 6

After getting a recommendation to establish its NCC unit under 3 Punjab Battalion from the NCC Group Headquarters, Ludhiana, CT University has laid the foundation stone of a 50-metre firing range on its campus.

The foundation stone was laid by Col BS Pundir, Commanding Officer of the battalion, in the presence of managing director of university Manbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor Harsh Sadawarti.

“The university has got sanction of 160 cadets to be enrolled in a span of three years,” the authorities said. — TNS
