Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh’s mother Raj Rani (84) breathed her last after brief illness at her home in nearby Khatana village here today. She was sarpanch of her village. She is survived by four children, including Rana. A large number of people attended her cremation.
CM Charanjit Singh Channi on Wednesday mourned the demise of Raj Rani. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister said, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of Raj Rani who was a pillar of great strength and inspiration for her family.” — TNS
