Chandigarh, March 15
The World Trade Centre Association’s (WTCA) agricultural committee in association with agro-industry bodies intends to be a catalyst to the food and agricultural industry in the Punjab region.
Khair Ull Nissa, WTCA board member and member of food and agriculture committee, during her visit to the city, said, “A centre for excellence for food and agriculture through WTCA will bring the best practices and latest developments in the field of agri-business in the state.”
The upcoming WTC in Mohali will serve as the nodal centre for facilitating technology transfer and knowledge exchange for agriculturists in the region.
The project in Chandigarh is being executed by the Viridian Group, which has the licence to develop 13 WTCs in the country.
