The Mohali police rounded up six minors, who are said to be involved in several petty thefts in the area.
Giving details, Inspector Satwant Singh, station house officer of the Sohana police station, said all these minors, between the age group of 15 to 17 years, were residents of Amb Sahib Colony here.
“These boys used to commit thefts of gas cylinders and other household items in the area and used to sell those later. By nabbing them, we have solved at least four petty thefts,” the SHO said. All of them have been sent to Juvenile Home. — TNS
