9th edition of mach auto expo kicks off

Ludhiana, February 21

Ninth edition of Mach Auto 2020, India’s leading exhibition on machine tools and automation technology was inaugurated on February 21 at GLADA grounds, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana.

During inauguration ceremony, leading industrialists, bureaucrats, politicians and exhibitors were present.

The first day witnessed massive footfall. As many as 575 exhibitors from India and 20 from aborad are participating in the exhibition. Over 850 running machines have been displayed in the expo which will end on February 24.

MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Capt Sandeep Sandhu, political secretary of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, and Anand Sherkhane, Additional Commissioner, MSME were present.

GS Dhillon, Managing Director, Udaan Media and Communications Private Limited, said,” The motive of the expo is to provide perfect platform for the MSME units to showcase latest technology and innovation under one roof. Mach Auto focuses on machine tools, auto parts, engineering machinery, hand tools and CNC machines.”

MLA Vaid said he witnessed latest technology which would definitely benefit industrialists.

Capt Sandhu said, “Industrialists will able to witness and adopt latest techniques and machinery available in the market.”

Sherkhane said, “The government will support industrialists in upgradation and adoption of new technology. Mach Auto Expo 2020 is the best platform for exhibiting latest technology.” — TNS
