Honour for Khalsa College Prof

AMRITSAR: Dr Jaswinder Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Geology of Khalsa College, has been selected for the Dr Roshan Lal Agarwal Best Science Teacher Award by the Punjab Academy of Sciences, Patiala.

Dr Jaswinder Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Geology of Khalsa College, has been selected for the Dr Roshan Lal Agarwal Best Science Teacher Award by the Punjab Academy of Sciences, Patiala. He will get a cash prize of Rs 11,000, a gold medal and a citation for his role in popularising science through teaching and encouraging research. College Principal Dr Mehal Singh felicitated Dr Jaswinder on his achievement. He said such awards encourage teachers to take active part in the field of research. He said the award would be given on the occasion of 21st Punjab Science Congress to be held in Ludhiana next month.
