Jalandhar train service starts

AMRITSAR: The Railways has decided to introduce a new daily Amritsar-Jalandhar City (54610) train from Friday.

Amritsar, January 17

The Railways has decided to introduce a new daily Amritsar-Jalandhar City (54610) train from Friday.

The passenger train will depart from Amritsar at 12.15 pm and arrive at Jalandhar City at 01.55 pm.

Comprising of seven general class and two second class-cum-luggage van coaches, the train will provide immense benefits to the residents of neighbouring towns.

The train will stop at Beas and Kartarpur stations en route. The Jaijon Doaba-Jalandhar City (54625) passenger train has been extended up to Amritsar.

It will depart from Jaijon Doaba at 5 am to arrive at Jalandhar City at 8.15 am and depart from there at 8.20 am to arrive in Amritsar at 11 am the same day from January 18.

The train will stop at Beas and Kartarpur stations en route.
