The Special Task Force, Border Range, nabbed two drug smugglers and recovered 1.10 kg of heroin, a pistol, three cartridges and a car from their possession here today. The STF also nabbed an incumbent sarpanch with 350 habit-forming pills.
Rachhpal Singh, Inspector General of Police, STF, Border Range, said that following a tip-off, the STF team established a check-post near Dalam village and intercepted a car. Following a search, they found 1.10 kg heroin, a .32 bore pistol and three cartridges.
The accused have been identified as Sonu and Davinder Singh alias Bholu. The STF officials claimed that they are interrogating the accused to trace as to where from they got the narcotics and to whom they were going to supply. The officials claimed that the accused are associated with major drug lords. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered in this regard.

tip-off and recovered 350 habit-forming pills. The accused have been identified as Satwant Singh and Baldev Masih. STF officials claimed the accused were running a chemist shop and used to sell drugs to addicts.
