BFC students shine in wushu championship

BATHINDA: Students of Baba Farid College, Bathinda, participated in the Inter-College Wushu Championship, which was organised by Punjabi University, Patiala, on the Campus.

Students of Baba Farid College, Bathinda, participated in the Inter-College Wushu Championship, which was organised by Punjabi University, Patiala, on the Campus.

Neeru Mittal, a student of BA (Ist semester) participated in the 54 kg category and got the gold medal. Similarly, Davinder Singh, a student of BA (IInd semester) participated in the 85 kg category and won a gold medal.

It is worth mentioning that both the winning students were selected for the inter-university camp.

Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI), congratulated the students and their parents on their success. He motivated them to participate in more such championships and wished them good luck for their future success.

He also praised the efforts of the sports department of Baba Farid Group of Institutions for bringing laurels to the institution.
