Meet on energy conservation building code from tomorrow

BATHINDA: A two-day capacity building training programme on Punjab Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) will be held on February 15 and 16 at the Department of Architecture, Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology (GZSCCET), a constituent of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU).

A two-day capacity building training programme on Punjab Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) will be held on February 15 and 16 at the Department of Architecture, Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology (GZSCCET), a constituent of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU).

The program will impart training to architects, engineers and other building professionals regarding the Punjab Energy Conservation Building Code (Punjab ECBC), which has been notified by the Department of New and Renewable Energy, Government of Punjab.

Head of Department, Prof Ripu Daman Singh, informed that the two-day program is a part of a series of programs being organised through ‘Design2Occupancy’ services at various locations in Punjab for all Urban Local Bodies, Department of Architecture and Town Planning, improvement trusts, builders and developers.
