BATHINDA: Members of the Safai Workers Union in Rampura have decided to protest against the Bathinda police for delay in arrest of a person accused in the murder of a safai worker.

Members of the Safai Workers Union in Rampura have decided to protest against the Bathinda police for delay in arrest of a person accused in the murder of a safai worker.

A safai karamchari, Jiwan Ram Mamu, was found murdered on the night of 4 February. Union president Bittu Pyara today said that the union would protest outside the office of Bathinda Senior Superintendent of Police on February 25. He said if the authorities failed to arrest the culprits, members of the union would resort to dumping the garbage outside government offices.
