Suspecting illicit relationship, man kills wife

BATHINDA: A man has been booked for allegedly killing his wife over her “illicit” relationship.



Bathinda, November 17

A man has been booked for allegedly killing his wife over her “illicit” relationship. The deceased has been identified as Meena Ranu (34), a resident of Talwandi Sabo.

In his complaint to the police, deceased’s brother Jagsir Singh, a resident of Jhunir in Mansa, said his brother-in-law Ganga Ram, a resident of Talwandi Sabo, had killed his sister Meena with a iron rod by hitting it on her head on November 15 as he had a doubt that Meena had an illicit relationship.

A case under Section 302 of the IPC has been registered. — TNS
