MOHALI:Two unidentified youths forcibly took away an Alto car at knife-point after throwing chilli powder in the eyes of the vehicle owner here this evening.

Two unidentified youths forcibly took away an Alto car at knife-point after throwing chilli powder in the eyes of the vehicle owner here this evening.

The incident occurred near Radha Soami Chowk around 6.30 pm. The victim, Gurinder Singh, who runs a car driving school at Lakhnaur village here, was targeted by the miscreants. They told Gurinder Singh that they wanted to learn how to drive a car and requested him to start their training immediately. While taking driving lessons, one of the miscreants pulled a knife and asked Gurinder Singh to stop the car, said the police. They threw chilli powder in his eyes and sped away in the car. 

According to the police, the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the way was being checked to get a clue to the criminals. — TNS
