Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore today felicitated Chandigarh cuiest Ranveer Duggal for winning a bronze medal in the recently-concluded World Snooker U-16 Championship in Tyumen, Russia.
The 15-year-old beat his opponents from Ireland, Australia, Russia and England during the championship.
Ranveer had earlier finished among top-eight in the 2017 World Snooker Championship at St Petersburg.
Rakesh Duggal, secretary, Chandigarh Billiards and Snooker Association, Secretary Sports KK Yadav, besides Ranveer’s mother Jaswinder Kaur, were present during the ceremony.
