CHANDIGARH:Government Model Senior Secondary School, Khuda Ali Sher, registered a 7-3 5-4 win over CL DAV School, Sector 7, in the boys’ opening match at the State Dodgeball Championship here today.

Government Model Senior Secondary School, Khuda Ali Sher, registered a 7-3 5-4 win over CL DAV School, Sector 7, in the boys’ opening match at the State Dodgeball Championship here today. 

Sri Aurobindo School, Sector 27, defeated Chandigarh Sports Club 4-1 5-2, while National Villager Club overcame Sri Guru Gobind Singh School, Sector 35 5-6 4-2 4-3. 

In the last match of the day, Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 20, drubbed Sri Aurobindo School, Sector 27, 3-2 6-3. 

In the boys’ junior category, Sri Aurobindo School beat Young Warrior Club 9-4 3-4 6-5. Government Model High School Club, Sector 26, blanked Sri Guru Gobind Singh School 7-6 4-3, while GMSSS, Sector 20, posted a 6-4 3-5 7-6 win over CL DAV boys. 

Yadav Coaching Club overwhelmed GMSSS, Khuda Ali Sher, 6-3 3-5 7-6. 

Meanwhile, GMSSS, Sector 20, girls defeated Sri Aurobindo School 3-1 2-4 5-6. CL DAV, Sector 7, beat Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 32, 4-2 6-3. 

In the girls’ senior category, Chandigarh Club beat Sri Aurobindo School 2-1 3-1, while GMSSS, Sector 20 overcame Friends Club 5-7 6-2 4-3).
